One of my favorite books is The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen Covey. Habit 2 is Begin With The End In Mind. In summary, knowing where you are going gives you motivation and a strong foundation to overcome hurdles along the way.
Since on Friday, I will be discussing money. I thought I should refer my readers to a piece by J.D. at the getrichslowly.org, one of my favorite personal finance blogs. He has written an e-book on the Roth IRA (only 30 pages, and a quick read). I thought it was an excellent piece of work. It is free. From J.D.’s intro, and the info in the e-book, you can see how this relates to Habit 2 of Mr. Covey’s book.
What does this have to do with the CPA exam? A lot, I think. You can read the intro to the CPA Money Friday on the Money (Dimms) page. You may leave a comment here or at J.D.’s blog on what you think about the free Roth-IRA e-book.
Thanks for reading, and I hope you found that helpful.
