CPA exam study tip 1: Read The About Page

This is no joke! When you are tackling a new endeavor or anything that is challenging or you are at a new place, it pays to invest sometime to know where you are, what the culture is, how you are expected to behave and other pertinent information. So, since you are here, if you have not already done so, please read the About page. It will give you some information on what the blog is about.

For something that is applicable to the CPA exam (with regard to “the About Page”), you may want to read the Content Specification Outline of whatever section you are taking. That will give you the details of what you may expect to be tested on the CPA exam. I believe it also gives you percentage estimates of how much a particular topic or set of topics may be tested. From there, you can tell what (not) to study, how much effort to put in certain areas, the amount of time to allocate studying for the section, etc.

Thank you and I hope you found that helpful. Be Your Best.
